As a child in the late 1980s or early 1990s, I wrote fan-mail to Dr. Seuss, my mom mailed it out, and I got an autographed response letter.

I recall wistfully mistakingly crediting Dr. Seuss for writing The Berenstain Bears, simply because “The Cat In The Hat” was the company logo of the book publisher.
I must see if I can get back home to find it. I believe my (God rest) mom had put the response letter in one of my baby photo albums.
